To prevent the pump from disturbing the sand bed, avoid mounting it too close, or pointing it to
the bottom of the aquarium.

The pump can be adjusted in any direction by simply turning the magnet holder (8 + 9), be sure
to hold the pump preventing it from falling, as well as turning the pump assembly in its holder
(6).
Note:
Even though the pump comes with a strong magnet holder that holds the pump securely in
place, we recommend to place the pump away from expensive animals in case it becomes dislodged
from the aquarium glass.
Note:
Avoid operating the pump via a timer. Small animals could enter the pump while it is shut-
off, and could cause damage to the pump and animals when starting.
6. EcoDrift Control
Zur Erzeugung unregelmäßiger Strömungen wird der Steuerungscomputer zwischen Netzteil und
Pumpe geschaltet.

EcoDrift Control
To produce irregular flows, the EcoDrift Control is switched between power supply and pump.
The
EcoDrift Control
4.0 is smaller and can not be used for controlling the larger types.
Furthermore, it has not a port for a light sensor.

Safety advices
The pump is constructed for indoor aquarium use only. Before working on the
aquarium, the power plug must be disconnected from the mains.
The connection cable and the power plug must not be changed. If the power cable is damaged,
the pump must be scrapped.
