Switch Panel Location:
Select a location that allows for easy operator access.
Switch Panel Mounting:
1. Cut out a 2.5” W x 1.75” H opening for the
switch panel plate. Reference Figure 35. If you
want the cut-out to also accommodate Aqua-
Hot’s three -Switch Panel for use with the Aqua-
Hot 450D, the cut- out should be 3.9” W x 1.75”
H.
2. Once the switch panel has been completely
wired, permanently mount the switch panel in
place.
3. Move both switches to an OFF position by
pressing them in a downward motion.
Switch Panel Wiring:
1. Run 16-gauge wires from the switch panel to the
2. Strip and crimp insulated female terminals on-
to each wire at the switch panel location.
3. Connect all switch wires to the appropriate
switch connections as illustrated in Figures 36
and 37. Reference Appendix A for additional
wiring information.
4. Insert all switch wires into the appropriate termi-
nal/switch panel connection on the terminal ac-
cess block. Reference Figure 37 and Appendix
A.
NOTE: It is recommended that the wire numbers in Ap-
pendix A be used when installing the Aqua-Hot in
order to aid service personnel with troubleshoot-
ing.
NOTE: Be sure to attach a jumper wire for the electric
switch from Pin 4 to Pin 1. Reference Figure 37.
