ESC I

Description: Send printer identity
Format: <1Bh>

<49h>

Comments:

The printer returns a string ended by zero (00h) that reflects the printer identity.
The string is formed by the concatenation of print mechanism name, firmware revision,
and logic voltage, like the following example:

Print mechanism

Note:

the string always has a fixed format, that is: the print mechanism name padded to 16 bytes, a space,

then 5 bytes for the firmware revision (the dot being in the middle), a space, then the logic voltage (the
string ‘3.3V’ or ‘5.0V’) ended with zero.
