Check fuel delivery to carburettor

- No fuel
- Clogged floater needle
- Obstructed fuel tank cap breather hole
- Obstructed fuel pipe or fuel filter

Check spark plugs

- Faulty spark plug
- Fouled spark plug
- Faulty CDI unit
- Faulty alternator
- Faulty engine stop switch
- Loose connection / broken or short-circuited wires
- Broken or short-circuited ignition coil
- Broken or short-circuited spark plug wire
- Faulty pick-up sensor
- Faulty ignition switch

Missing or weak spark

Check cylinder compression

- Worn cylinder and/or worn piston rings
- Damaged cylinder head gasket

Poor compression

Start engine

-Damaged or blocked starter
-Disconnected starter power wire
-Wrong air screw adjustment
