CHANGING
THE HEADLIGHT BULBS

Carefully read p. 61 (BULBS).

Before changing a bulb, check
the fuses, see p. 58 (CHANGING

THE FUSES).

The headlight contains:

◆

A parking light bulb (1)

◆

A low beam/high beam bulb (haloge-
nous) (2).

T o c h a n g e t h e b u l b s , p r o c e e d a s
follows:

The front part of the fairing

(4),

complete with the headlight,
remains connected to the elec-

tric wires; do not pull them.

◆

Unscrew and remove the two screws (3).

Handle the plastic components
with care and avoid scraping or

damaging them.

◆

Withdraw the front part of the fairing (4),
complete with the headlight, downwards
and disconnect it from the pin (5)
provided on the dashboard.

LOW / HIGH BEAM BULB (HALOG-
ENOUS)

T o e x t r a c t t h e b u l b e l e c t r i c
connector, do not pull its electric
wires.

◆

Grasp the bulb electric connector (6),
pull it and disconnect it from the bulb (2).

◆

Withdraw the protection element (7) from
the reflector and from the bulb terminals.

◆

Rotate the bulb socket (8) anticlockwise
and extract it from the reflector.

◆

Extract the bulb (2).

For the installation:

Insert the bulb (2) in the reflector,
making the two teeth (9) provided

on the bulb coincide with the relevant
guide (10) on the reflector.

◆

Position the bulb socket (8) in the
reflector and rotate it clockwise.

◆

Correctly insert the protection element
(7) in the bulb terminals and in the
reflector.

◆

Connect the bulb electric connector (6).

PARKING LIGHT BULB

To extract the bulb socket, do
not pull its electric wires.

◆

Grasp the bulb socket (11), pull and
disconnect it from its seat.

◆

Withdraw the parking light bulb (1) and
replace it with one of the same type.
