REMOVING THE BATTERY CONDITION
INDICATOR

Read through the section PRECAUTIONS AND
GENERAL INFORMATION.
Put the vehicle on the stand.
Remove the battery as described in the paragraph
REMOVING THE BATTERY.
Remove the side fairings as directed in the paragraph
REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS.
Detach three-way electrical connector (1) (green) and
disengage the cable from the clamp.
Remove screw (2) and pull out battery condition
indicator (3).

MALFUNCTION TYPES

LED malfunction

LEDs are working but not as described in
related table.

Buzzer gives out no sound

CHECKS

Check the wiring.

Check the wiring. If no problem is found, try
replacing the controller.

Check the wiring.
Check the buzzer.
Try replacing the controller.
