Initial Setup / Battery Installation & Charging
Connect the power plug from the AC adapter to the 12V DC 1.
input on the LDP706.
While the battery is charging the battery indicator flashes 2.
green. When charged completely, the indicator will illuminate
solid green. The battery takes about 3 hours to fully charge
and under normal conditions will function for up to 2.5 hours.
The LDP706 features a quick release battery latch that 3.
makes it easy to detach the battery pack. To open, using
finger pressure slide the spring-loaded tab and the battery
will release out of its compartment. To close, set battery into
position, slide the release towards “open” and push battery
into position. Release the switch to lock in place.
Use the RF quick-connect adapter (L-type) to connect your 4.
cable or indoor/outdoor antenna for indoor use. Untighten the
telescopic antenna. Screw on your cable wire to the RF quick
disconnect adapter and push on to the RF input. Pull out the
built-in stand carefully to stand the TV upright.
After connecting the antenna, turn on the TV and highlight 5.
“YES” to begin the channel search process whereby the tuner
will search for strong digital signals from local TV stations and
store them into memory. (See page 10 for more details).
