6. Remote Mounted Display Units with Junction Box
Connecting the Load Cells to the Junction Box
NOTE: If display units are mounted inside, then you
will need a junction box.
Insert the cord from each load cell through one of
the holes in the multi-hole grommet in the bottom of
the junction box.
The load cell wires connect to the bank of
“three terminal” connectors labeled “To Load Cells”.
Connect the red wire to the terminal marked “+5V”.
Connect the white wire to the terminal marked
“LC1”. Connect the black wire to the terminal
marked “GND”. Repeat for each load cell.

Junction Box Terminals
Connecting the Ten (10) Conductor Cable to the Junction Box
Insert the ten (10) conductor cable through the single-hole grommet in the bottom, right hand side of the
junction box.
The ten (10) conductor cable connects to the ten (10) terminal connector on the left hand side of the
junction box labeled “To Display Unit”. Connect the red wire to the terminal marked “power”. Connect the
black wire to the terminal marked “GND”. Connect the remaining eight (8) wires to the following terminals
based on the color of the wire.
LC1 - Purple wire
LC2 - Grey wire
LC3 - White wire
LC4 - Green wire
LC5 - Brown wire
LC6 - Blue wire
LC7 - Orange wire
LC8 - Yellow wire
Always make sure all power is disconnected and locked out while any electrical
work is being performed.
