OpenBook 1556

BIOS Flash Utility

The BIOS flash memory update is required for the following conditions:

New versions of system programs

New features or options

Executing Flash Program

Create a bootable disk.

Unzip the flash file, and save the three files (.bat, .exe, .wph) to the bootable disk.

Follow the flashA.bat file’s commands to flash BIOS.

IMPORTANT:

Never turn off the system power while Flash BIOS is programming. This will damage your

system.

After Flash BIOS is done, system will auto shut down.

NOTE:

If there are any problems occurred during BIOS update, see for troubleshooting.
