Replacing the battery
• If the light loses its intensity or stops working, the battery may need to be replaced.
• Replace the battery with a chargeable NiMH battery. A spring holds the battery in place. Press the
battery against the spring to remove it. To insert the new battery, carry out the procedure in the
reverse order.
TRoUBLESHooTING
• If the solar cell light does not light up automatically in the evening or after having stood in
sunlight for 8 hours, check the following:
– Make sure that the switch is in the “ON” position.
– Check that the battery is making contact with the terminals.
– Make sure that the solar cell light is positioned so that it is exposed to direct sunlight.
