Overpressure protection
If the system pressure is too high and the pressure switch trips, the control unit reduces the compressor
speed by 1 Hz per second until the pressure switch is reset The control unit also registers the actual speed
of the compressor and temporarily limits the maximum speed to a level just below the speed at which the
pressure switch was reset This restriction stops automatically when the compressor has been working wit-
hout interruption for 2 hours If the pressure switch trips again during this process the control unit registers
the new speed just below this speed as the maximum speed This restriction aslo stops automatically when
the compressor has been working without interruption for 2 hours If the compressor is switched off and
the pressure switch trips and remains tripped for 5 seconds, the control unit interprets this to mean the
pressure switch is defective and a corresponding error code is shown in the control unit
Follow the instructions below to check if there is a fault on the pressure switch (F8) or if the function has
tripped (Fc)
1
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the power supply Wait 10 minutes
2
Reset the power supply and start the appliance
3
If error code F8 is shown immediately when the appliance is started, the pressure switch is defec-
tive or not properly connected
ELECTRIC HEATER
The appliance has two built-in electric heaters The electric heaters increase the water temperature when
the heat pump is not providing a sufficient output or is not working, and helps to heat the water more
quickly if the water temperature is low
Electric heater 1,7 kW
1
The 1,7 kW electric heater can only be operated manually and is not controlled by the control unit
2
Electrical data: 230 VAC, 50 Hz, 1-phase Set point temperature: 30–75°C
3
This electric heater is used to produce hot tap water more quickly
4
This electric heater can also be used if the heat pump is not working
