1. The bulb has a bayonet socket and is fitted
by twisting it into place as shown in the
diagram.
2. Fit the top cover by screwing in the four
screws as shown in the diagram. Use
a suitable tool to avoid damaging the
crosshead screws.
3. Lay out the connection cord. Make sure to
place it so that nobody can trip over it.
4. Place the plug (do not plug in yet) next to
the power point to which the light is to be
connected.
5. If the light source is to be put on the
ground, fit the light on the supplied
ground spike. Press the spike into the
ground and make sure the cord reaches
the extension cord.
6. Use the supplied screws if the light is
to be installed on a wall or on decking
(e.g. a terrace).
7. Plug the plug into the mains.
MAINTENANCE
Changing the bulb
NOTE:
Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands.
Allow the bulb to cool before starting.
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove the top cover by unscrewing the
four screws as shown in the diagram. Use
a suitable tool to avoid damaging the
crosshead screws.
3. The bulb has a bayonet socket and is removed
by twisting it out as shown in the diagram.
4. Fit the new bulb.
5. Fit the top cover before reconnecting the
power supply.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not attempt to modify the light.
• The mains voltage must be protected by a
residual current device.
• Do not use the light if the power cord or
plug are damaged in any way. For safety
reasons the power cord must only be
replaced or repaired by an authorised
service centre.
• Do not attempt to repair the spotlight
yourself if it has been damaged in any
way. Contact an authorised service centre.
• Never use the product if the protective
cover is damaged. Replace the cover as
soon as possible.
• Switch off the power supply before
installation, dismantling, or any other
interventions.
• Never use bulbs with a higher output than
specified in the technical data.
• Disconnect the power supply and allow
the bulb to cool before replacing.
• Do not look directly at the light source
NOTE:
• The bulb gets very hot when in use.
Switch off the light and allow the
spotlight to cool before touching it.
WARNING!
• Keep illuminated objects and surfaces at
least 50 cm away from the bulb.
