1.8 Data plate
The data plate is located on the inside of the pellet hopper door or on the back of the stove. It gives all the stove's
characteristic data, including the manufacturer's details, serial number, CE marking, test laboratory and the
Declaration of Performance reference number.
1.9 Decommissioning
When the product is no longer to be used, disconnect it from the power supply and empty all pellets from the
hopper. For disposal, the insert must be sealed inside strong packaging; contact the local authority in charge of
such operations in order to proceed according to the current local regulations, or take it to the dealer when
purchasing a similar new unit.
This symbol, which is used on the product, batteries, accumulators or on the packaging or documents, means that at the end of its
useful life, this product, the batteries and the accumulators included must not be collected, recycled or disposed of together with
domestic waste.
Improper management of electric or electronic waste or batteries or accumulators can lead to the leakage of hazardous substances
contained in the product. For the purpose of preventing damage to health or the environment, users are kindly asked to separate
this equipment and/or batteries or accumulators included from other types of waste and to arrange for disposal by the municipal
waste service It is possible to ask your local dealer to collect the waste electric or electronic appliance under the conditions and
following the methods provided by national laws transposing the Directive 2012/19/EU.
Separate waste collection and recycling of unused electric and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators helps to save
natural resources and to guarantee that this waste is processed in a manner that is safe for health and the environment.
For more information about how to collect electric and electronic equipment and appliances, batteries and accumulators, please
contact your local Council or Public Authority competent to issue the relevant permits.
1.10 Instructions for requesting assistance and replacement parts
To request any assistance and/or replacement parts contact your dealer, area importer or the nearest authorized
service center, clearly specifying
the following: product model, serial number, date of purchase, list of replacement
parts, details of faults or malfunctioning.
- All operations on components must be carried out by authorized and/or qualified personnel.
- Make sure all electrical connections are disconnected and that the insert is cold before carrying out
any work it.
- Only use original replacement parts.
2 TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
2.1 Packing, handling, shipment and transport
The insert complete with packing can be lifted using a lift truck, inserting the forks (of suitable length) in the special
spaces in the wooden pallet. Make sure the equipment used for lifting and carrying can take the weight specified on
the data plate and in this manual.
Avoid taking the load in areas where it could be a danger if dropped.
After opening the packaging, remove the insert and very carefully place it on a work surface, avoiding any impact,
then place it the required area, following the instructions given in the next section.
Disposal or recycling of the packing must be carried out by the end-user in compliance with the current local
regulations.
2.2 Place of installation, positioning and fire-prevention safety
The product must be installed in a domestic environment, respecting the following conditions:
-
minimum temperature not below 0°C,
-
possibility of servicing the insert, allowing entire sliding opening-closing of the monoblock,
-
availability of an approved electrical outlet, accessible after the work is finished,
-
availability of a suitable approved flue ensuring easy connection,
-
availability of adequate external ventilation to allow the entry of combustion air and for the evacuation of any
small leaks of combustion smoke
-
availability of ventilation grilles on the fireplace to avoid any overheating of the insert.
Before proceeding with installation it is necessary to check the stability and load-bearing capacity of the support
surface according to the weight of the unit, to allow the monoblock to be pulled out safely and allow normal
maintenance and/or pellet loading operations.
Any cladding must:
- be made of non-flammable material or, if using special wood or combustible
materials, the product must be insulated from the heat and fire with adequate protection in non-combustible
material to avoid the risk of fire,
- respect the minimum safety distances,
- ensure an easily accessible technical space for periodical maintenance.
