Lighting
1)
Turn on the gas supply tap.

Press and turn the knob

and turn it anti-
clockwise (pos.

), while keeping button

pressed, to light the pilot light.
Keep the knob pressed for about 15 sec. to
prime the thermocouple.

Turn the knob

anti-clockwise (pos.

) to
light the burner.
4)
Turn the knob
(A)
gradually anti-clockwise
to adjust the power of the fl ame down to the
minimum setting (pos.

).
Turning off
1)
Turn the knob
(A)
clockwise (pos.

) to turn
the burner off . The pilot light will remain on to
allow the burner to be re-lit.
2)
Turn the knob
(A)
clockwise (pos.

) to turn
off the pilot light.
3)
Turn off the knob to ensure safety.

SWITCHING THE BURNER ON AND OFF
FILLING THE PAN
To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
1)
Raise the lid
(A)
.
2)
Turn the water spout
(B)
towards the pan.
3)
Turn on the water taps
(C)
to fi ll the pan to a
level between the two marks
(D)
.
For faster boiling times, use hot water
only; use cold water only when specifi cally
required.
4)
Turn the water spout outward and then close
the lid
(A)
and tighten the clamps
(E)
.
Caution - Warning
Never use the appliance with no water in the
well, as this may damage its structure.
5)
To drain the pan turn on the tap
(F)

Before draining the pan or opening the lid
(A), press the button (G) to discharge the
remaining steam (for version 1N1PI1GA-
1N1PI2GA only).
