5.  Press  the  hour  button  until  the 

correct hourly time is set on the LCD 
display. 

6. Once  you  have  selected  the  correct 

hourly  time,  press  the  MIN  button 
and  follow  the  same  process.  
Pressing  the  button  once  will 
increase the time by 1 minute and by 
holding  the  MIN  button  again  this 
will  increase  the  minutes  on  the 
timer quicker. 

7. Once  the  correct  time  is  set  up  on 

the  timer  function,  press  the  PROG 
button once and the TIMER indicator 
will  disappear  from  the  LCD  display 
and  revert  to  the  clock  time  on  the 
LCD display. 

8. To  finish  setting  the  timer  function 

press  the  ON/OFF  button  twice  and 
the  auto  indicator  will  light  up.  The 
coffee  maker  will  start  making  the 
coffee at the set time. 

Please  note:  There  is  no  memory 
function. 

Important notes 

 

Please note, the clock does not have 
to be set up to make coffee. 

 

The  Coffee  maker  can  be  turned  off 
at  any  time  in  either  the  manual  or 
timer mode: 

 

Press the ON/OFF button twice if the 
coffee maker is in the RUN mode. 

 

Press the ON/OFF button once if the 
coffee maker is in the AUTO mode. 

 

If the coffee maker is not turned off 
by  hand,  the  appliance  will  stop 
heating  automatically  after  35 
minutes  in  both  the  (RUN)  and 
(AUTO) mode. 

Descaling the appliance 

Regularly  remove  mineral  deposits 
from the appliance. The  frequency you 
remove mineral deposits depends upon 
the amount you use the appliance. It is 
recommended  you  do  this  every  30 
days. 

To remove mineral deposits: 

1.  Fill  the  water  tank  with  water  and 

descaler  to  the  MAX  level  using  a 
ration of 1 parts descaler to 4 parts 
water. 

Please 

use 

household 

descaler and not industrial descaler, 
citrus juice can also be used. 

2.  Place  the  carafe  onto  the  warm 

plate. 

3.  Run  a  brew  cycle  as  mentioned  in 

“making  coffee”  without    placing 
coffee into the filter holder. 

4.  After  the  coffee  machine  has 

percolated  the  equivalent  of  one 
cup,  press  the  “ON/OFF”  button 
once. 

5.  Leave  the  solution  to  work  in  the 

appliance for 15 minutes.
