Caution
:
While standing beams, be sure to
“foot” the baseplate so that the beam does not slide out
from under the workers pushing it up.
After the first bay has been X-cabled, the installation
safety guys can be removed.
Gabled Ends are installed in the same way as the Hip-
Gabled units described above.
As before, be sure to guy out the frame before installing
fabric.
Note:
To meet design loads,
X-Cabled bays (upright
and rafter x-cables) shall be added such that there
are no more than 6 open bays between x-cabled
bays or hip ends.
