Copying, moving or deleting extraction protocols
IMPORTANT
Administrator rights are required for moving, deleting or copying extraction protocols!
Extraction protocols have already been pre-installed on the InnuPure C16. It might, however,
be necessary to install protocols for a new reagent kit and to delete unnecessary protocols or
move them temporarily to external data carriers. This administration of the extraction proto-
cols takes place in the protocol window.
The data transfer when moving or copying always takes place between a USB stick (S
TICK
)
and the SD memory card in the HID-Pro 320 (C
ARD
). A "Wizard" folder must be present on
the USB stick containing the protocol folders to be copied or to which protocol folders from
the SD memory card of the HID-Pro 320 are moved.
In the example, copying a protocol ("DNA_internal_Lysis_FAST_C16") to the SD memory
card of the HID-Pro 320 is explained step by step. It is also possible to copy, move or delete
multiple protocols simultaneously.
1.
Switch on the InnuPure C16 and wait for
the device to initialize.
2.
Connect the USB stick with the protocol
folder to be copied in the "Wizard" folder
to the HID-Pro 320.

Press the [S

Press [S
ELECT
], this makes the menus
[E
DIT
] and [C
ARD
] available. Now, the
[S
TART
] button cannot be actuated.
The [E
DIT
] menu contains the three functions:
M
OVE
– moves a protocol to a differ-
ent data carrier.
C
OPY
– copies a protocol to a differ-
ent data carrier.
D
ELETE
– deletes a protocol on the
current data carrier.
Using the [C
ARD
] or [S
TICK
] buttons you can
move between the data carriers.
