DVI CHANNEL:
- Connect your computer source to the DVI
IN
connector.
- Connect a device to the DVI OUT 1/MONITOR connector in priority.
- Connect the display devices and iX family devices to the other DVI-D
OUT
connectors.
- Turn ON your display devices and your input source.
About Output 1/Monitor & DDC:
DDC : Display Data Channel is a communication link between the Computer Graphic Card (CGC) and the display
device. This plug and play protocol allows your CGC to identify the performances of your display device. In DVI,
especially, CGC does not start up if DDC is not present. Always use iX Mate DVI Output 1/Monitor to transmit display
device DDC info to CGC and boot the computer only when all connections are OK and display device and iX Mate are
ON.
NOTE: The DVI channel is not compatible with HDCP; it may not work if you connect a HDMI source.
