Operation
Selecting Content
The RemoteLink AV is a powerful and flexible player. Selection of audio and video content
for each of the player’s
output zones, as well as management of a variety of settings, is done via your account on the AMTC Customer Portal.
Use of the Portal is outside the scope of this guide, but is covered by video tutorials found in the Resource Center of
the AMTC Customer Portal. If you have difficulty, consult the Portal support section or call AMTC Customer Support.
Your RemoteLink AV automatically connects
to (“polls”) our servers when it initializes (powers on), and then every
time it completes the playing of a file in any output zone. Each time it polls, it downloads configuration files that
instruct the player what to do, which instructions reflect your selections and settings in Portal. Therefore, any changes
you make on Portal take effect in nearly “real time”.
