FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
•
Q:
Can this laser be used for tiling a floor?
A: Yes. Using lasers for tile layouts can be much better than
chalk lines or pencil because the laser line will remain visible
over the mortar or adhesive. However, it is best practice to use
the laser in conjunction with another marking method, such as
pencil marks, in case the laser is accidentally moved during the
tile installation. This will allow you to reposition the laser in the
original spot.
NOTE
that FIXED LASER mode will likely work
better than SELF-LEVELING mode for this application since
you can point the laser directly at the floor.
NOTE
that attaching
the laser level to a tripod (not included) may work best for posi-
tioning the laser.

Q:
Can this laser be used for tiling a wall/backsplash/shower?
What if the tile is on an angle?
NOTE
that attaching the laser level to a tripod
(not included) may work best for positioning the laser. To
project the lasers on an angle, you must use FIXED-LASER
mode.

Q:
Does this laser come with a tripod?
A: No. An inexpensive tripod (less than $25) will work fine for
must users. Many users may already have a tripod, or may
want a tripod with enhanced design or features, such as a fine-
tuning height adjustment knob. This laser will attach to any
standard-sized 1/4” thread tripod attachment screw.
