laser
unplugged.
Remove:
Open the side panels.
Remove the top cover by unplugging the cables to the display and unscrewing the
six screws on each side of the top cover.
o
Drain laser by disconnecting the two chiller lines (Have a receptacle
available to catch the drained water.
Reconnect the lines after draining.
Place lint free paper towels on top of electronics to prevent any dripping when the
water hoses are removed.
Disconnect green hoses from resonator. Take care to not spill any water on the
electronics.
Disconnect the red and blue water hoses.
Disconnect LPS interlock.
Disconnect the Diode power supply bus wires: Remove the bottom screws
connecting the diode power supply bus wires to the power supply. Loosen the top
screws until the bus wires can be rotated away from you. Connect the shorting bar
between the two bus wires using the bottom holes in the bus wires. Remove the top
screws connecting the bus wires to the power supply.
FAILURE TO HAVE THE
BUS WIRES SHORTED WHEN NOT CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY
MAY DESTROY THE DIODE!
Disconnect the three connectors from the bottom of the Resonator control board.
Disconnect the cables to the Q-switch temp and R.F
Disconnect the device coupler connector from the Resonator control board.
Remove the four corner screws located at the top of the resonator.
Set aside the resonator to be packed up for return shipment.
Install:
Place the new resonator plate slightly angled to the chassis frame so the red and
black bus wires are positioned over the square hole.
Hook up the green water hoses
Hook up red (out) and blue (in) hose by pushing hose up into fitting.
Plug in the coupler cable to the Resonator control board
Plug in the Diode power supply bus wires. Follow procedure outlined above for the
removal of the bus wires in reverse.
Plug in the Q-switch and detector cables.
