INTRODUCTION

The Amico medical gas alarm system (ALERT-1) incorporates the latest digital technology in alarm

arid surveillance systems.

The system has been designed primarily for user flexibility and reliability.

• Digital read-out for every gas service measured.
•  Bar-graph display for trend indication.
•  HI/LOW alarm indication with adjustable repeat times.
•  Interface to building management computer.
•  Easily expandable for additional gas services.
•

NO

moving parts    v e r y  reliable.

• Modular construction    e a s e  of maintenance.
•  Plexiglass front covere a s y  to clean.
•  Adjustable repeat alarm

Optional computer interface.

• Meets requirements of CSA 2305.1.

ALERT-1 is divided into four main modules which plug
into the alarm box.

1. POWER SUPPLY MODULE

This 'module converts the 115 VAC

supply voltage into 24 VDC required for

the alarm system and contains the

audible alarm and lamp test circuitry.

2. PRESSURE/VACUUM

DISPLAY MODULE

This module provides a digital display
of the actual pressure or vacuum of a
gas being monitored. In addition a gas

movement trend and HI/LOW alarm
section is provided for quick identifica-

tion.

3. SENSOR MODULE

This module contains the transducer
which converts the pressure (vacuum)
source into an electric signal that is
displayed  b y   t h e  pressure display

module.
