Release the operating lever, so that the latch engages
in this position.
5.2.2 Lengthening and shortening the swivel
arms
The swivel arms have perceptible latches that hold the
head- and backrest in certain positions when pulled out or
pushed in. The swivel arms can be pushed in or pulled out
without further preparations, in order to adjust the head-
and backrest to the desired lateral position.

Take hold of the head- or backrest with both hands (see
Figure 5).

Push or pull the swivel arm to the desired position.
