5.3.2 Adjusting the headrest

Pivot the headrest to a position behind the passenger
and allow the latch to engage (see Section 5.2.1,
page 18).

Adjust the length of the swivel arm, such that the head-
rest is positioned in the centre of the passenger's head
(see Section 5.2.2, page 19).

Adjust the height of the headrest, such that the upper
edge is at the same height as the top of the passen-
ger's head (see Section 5.2.3, page 20).

NOTE
Remember that the FutureSafe adjustment described here
represents the ideal case.
Persons who are dependent upon a wheelchair are not
always in a position to assume a posture as shown in Fig-
ure 8.
Always try to find a balance between maximum protection
and maximum comfort of the passenger.
