CAUTION
Never disconnect the scanner cable whilst the scanner is powered. Doing so
could damage other devices on the same TCP/IP network. Always turn off
power at the Power over Ethernet PSU prior to disconnecting the scanner cable.
Note
The scanner end of the cable is labelled 'Scanner' and is a right-angled M12
'D-coded' Ethernet connector.
The power supply end of the cable is a straight M12 'D-coded' Ethernet connector.

3.1.2 Default Network Settings
IP Address: 10.1.10.100
Subnet: 255.255.0.0
Each scanner is supplied with the IP address set to the default of 10.1.10.100. There is
a switch on the digital PCB that allows the last digit of the IP address to be changed.
If the switch is set in position 0, the last digit will be configured by software (this is the
default.)
If the switch is in any other position (7 for example), then the address will become
10.1.10.107, with all the other digits set in the software. Software is configured via
the Landscan browse utility (Refer to the help file/user documentation supplied with the
software).
A maximum of 4 clients may be connected to the scanner at one time.
