Advanced CMOS Setup Options

Typematic Rate Programming, Rate, and Delay

Typematic Programming enables or disables the following
two options. Typematic Rate Delay (250, 500, 750 or 1,000
milliseconds) and Typematic Rate (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 24,
or 30 characters per second) control the speed at which a
keystroke is repeated. A character is displayed when a key
is pressed and held down. After a delay (the Typematic
Rate Delay), it repeats at the Typematic Rate.
