INSTALLATION AND SETUP GUIDE
5 of 11
Surface Mount Installation
1. Loosen (DO
NOT
REMOVE) four captive Torx
screws to remove the cover from enclosure.
2. Prepare the four mounting screws. In extreme
environments: Wrap the screw head in Teflon
®
tape with the tape going ¼ inch down the body
of the screw (A) and insert the washer and O-
ring (B). Otherwise, just use the washer and
O-ring (B). The O-ring goes on last.
3. Using the four mounting screws, attach the
enclosure to the ceiling. Use Teflon tape to
wrap the ends of the conduit before connecting
it to the enclosure.
4. If connecting to an electrical box, see “Electrical
Box Attachment”, page 5. If using the camera
outdoors, see “Heater Installation”, page 7. If
humidity is a factor, see “Heater/Fan”
installation, page 7.
5. Run 24vac and video cables to the enclosure.
Connect cables where shown and apply power
to the camera.
6. Holding the yoke (not the camera lens barrel),
swivel the camera to adjust (using a small
screwdriver) the auto-iris level control on the
edge of the top board.
