VaporFlow™
Trouble Shooting
Fog Juice:
Always be sure to maintain an adequate supply of American DJ
®
Brand Fog Juice™ in the fluid reservoir. Running the fog machine dry
will cause pump failure and or clogging. This is the largest cause of
failure in fog machines.
Caution:
Not all fog juice is manufactured in the same fashion. Please
use American DJ brand fog juice only, using other brands of fog juice
may cause the unit to clog and fail. Not using American DJ
®
Brand fog
juice will void the manufactures warranty.
Remote:
Be sure main power is disconnected and connect the remote control
to the rear of the fog machine. To avoid damage to the unit be sure
main power is disconnected before connecting the remote to the unit.
When main power is connected, the red LED on the remote will begin
to glow.
Power:
Plug the VaporFlow™ into a matching power supply for your area. The
unit will draw up to 8.5 amps of power operating at 120 volts or 4 amps
If you experience low output, pump noise, or no output at all, discon-
nect immediately. Do not continue pushing on the remote button as
this may damage unit. Check fluid level, the external fuse, remote con-
nection, and check power from wall. If all of the above appear to be
okay, and the unit fails to operate correctly, the unit will may require
service. Please contact customer support or return the machine to an
American DJ
®
authorized service center.

General Information
operating at 220 volts. A red LED on the rear of the unit will begin to
glow once main power is applied
Operation:
Fog output must be regulated by the remote control, the unit itself has
no output control. Once the machine has warmed up to normal operat-
ing temperature, the green on the remote will begin to glow. The glow-
ing Green LED on the remote indicates the unit is ready to emit fog.
To emit fog, press and hold the red button on the remote control.
Fog will continue to emit until the red button on the remote control is
released or the unit has to recycle.
If fog does not come out, after holding the button down for 30 sec-
onds, check the fluid tank level and be sure there is fluid going
through the hose.
ETS:
Electronic Thermal Sensing - This feature electronically regulates the
operating temperature of the heater core. When the heater core drops
by one degree it automatically reheats keeping the heater core at opti-
mum temperature throughout use. This allows for fog output at virtual-
ly any time it is needed. In fact the only time you should not be without
fog is when the unit is warming or the duty cycle has been exhausted
(the output was held down until the entire fog burst was used).
