Configuration for a cable modem connected to DVR directly is illustrated as below.
(1)Open IP SETUP
(MENU→EXTERNAL DEVICE→TCP/IP SETUP→IP SETUP)
and set DHCP MODE as AUTOMATIC, letting the
DVR detect an IP address automatically.
(2) Shift to DDNS SETUP
(MENU→EXTERNAL DEVICE→TCP/IP SETUP→DDNS SETUP)
. Set DDNS ENABLE as ON and an IP
address will be automatically assigned to DNS SERVER from the DHCP server. After that, click REGISTER to
renew the IP registered in DDNS SERVER.
