Danger of being cut due to improper handling .
Exercise caution when handling, assembling or disassembling the various attachments
of the 3 Cup Food Processor as they are sharp and may result in personal injury.
The 3 Cup Food Processor is equipped with the following attachments:
1. Knife Blade
2.
Reversible Plate
a. Shredding Plate
b. Slicing Plate
Determine the appropriate attachment to use and follow the respective assembly
instructions. ALWAYS fit the bowl and respective attachment onto the drive shaft of the
food processor before adding ingredients.

The knife blade attachment is extremely sharp; use caution
and handle with care.
1.
Place the power base on a stable, level surface. verify
that the speed control knob is turned to the
OFF
position,
and that the power supply cord is unplugged from the
electrical outlet.
2. Attach the food processing bowl to the power base.
3. Handle the knife blade attachment by its plastic stalk;
avoid touching the sharp cutting blades. Fit the attachment
(blade end down) over the drive shaft, twisting it gently
until it drops into place over the shaft. Use the top of the
plastic stalk to carefully push the knife blade down as far
as it will go.

Food Processing Bowl
Begin assembling the accessories by placing the food processing bowl onto the drive
shaft of the power base. As shown in Figure C on p. 9, align the interlock mechanism of
the bowl with the power base, and then turn the bowl counterclockwise (i.e., left) until
it locks into place on the power base.
