22. ALWAYS switch the appliance off by turning the control knob to the
OFF
position;
wait until the knife blade or plate carrier comes to a complete stop before
disassembling.
23. To disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet, verify that the speed control
knob is turned to the
OFF
position, and then pull directly on the plug. DO NOT pull
on the power cord.
24. ALWAYS unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use.
25. DO NOT plug or unplug the appliance with a wet hand.
26. DO NOT put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as
the power cord could fray and break.
