GENERAL INFORMATION
When using the Stick Hand Blender, basic safety precautions should be observed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE STICK
HAND BLENDER

1. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. The Stick
Hand Blender is not intended for use by children.
2. For indoor household use only.
3. Unplug the Stick Hand Blender from the outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or Stick Hand
Blender main body in water or any other liquid.
5. Do not operate the Stick Hand Blender with a damaged cord or plug, or if the Stick
Hand Blender malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return the Stick
Hand Blender to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
refund.
6. Keep hands and utensils out of the blending cup when in use.
7. Before removing the attachment from the main body, turn off the Stick Hand
Blender and wait until the blades come to a complete stop.
8. The blending cup is not microwave proof.
9. Keep hands and utensils out of blending cup while blending to reduce the risk of
severe injury to persons or blender. A scraper may be use, but only when blender
is not running.
10. Use extreme caution when blending hot liquids.
11. This blender should be used to blend soft food, for no longer than 1 minute at a
time. If blending harder food, blend for no longer than 15 seconds at a time.
12. The blades on the blender stick are extremely sharp and must be handled with
care. Always hold the blender stick by the stem when handling or cleaning.
13. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They
could constitute a danger to the user and risk damage to the Stick Hand Blender.
14. Never move the Stick Hand Blender by pulling the cord. DO NOT let the electrical
cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
15. Do not place the Stick Hand Blender on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
16. Do not use the Stick Hand Blender with a damaged outlet.
17. Make sure hands are dry when plugging in and unplugging the Stick Hand Blender.
18. Do not use this Stick Hand Blender for other than intended use.
19. This Stick Hand Blender is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the Stick Hand Blender by a person responsible for their safety.
