Installation
17.2 Brick Panel Installation
The following steps highlight the procedure for installing brick panel firebox liners. Handle the panels with care as they are delicate.
Inspect the panels to ensure that no damage has occurred inside the package. Please report any damage immediately to your
Authorized Ambiance Dealer.
Before you begin:
• Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the power supply

Remove barrier screen (see
Section 14.0
)
•
Remove Glass Door (see
Section 15.0
)
•
Remove the Burner Media (if installed, see
Section 18.0
)
•
Remove the Masking Plate (see
Section 17.1
)
Step 1:
Remove the panels from the box and check for damage.
Place the Rear Lower panel in place. The notch in the panel is
meant to be on the bottom.
Step 2:
Place one side panel (left or right) in place. Use the brick
clips that are provided in the fireplace manual bag to secure the
panel in place (see
Figure 17.2.05
).
Step 3:
Angle the upper baffle panel in to sit on top of the side
panel already installed. Hold in place while placing the remaining
side panel into location.
Step 4:
Place the remaining panel in place to support the upper
baffle. Secure the side panel in place with the brick clip.
