Inserts:
1. Slide insert 1 so that the values for the working width
and target quantity are lined up on top of each other.
2. Look for the value for the forward speed and read off the
desired flow rate written above it .
3. Perform the spread rate check and take note of the values for
the fertiliser discharge time and the collected fertiliser quantity in
kg.
4. Slide insert 2 such that the value for discharge time and
the collected fertiliser quantity in kg are lined up on top of
each other.
5. Read off the real flow rate above the arrow .
For spread rate check on the left shutter:
1. Slide insert 3 such that the value for the real flow rate (above
insert 3) is lined up on top of the set shutter position .
2. Look for the value for the desired flow rate (below insert 3) and
read off the shutter position to be set above it.
3. Adjust the shutter position on both sides of the fertiliser
spreader.
Example:
Working width: 24 m, target quantity: 250 kg/ha,
forward speed: 12 km/h:
→
Desired flow rate: 1.0 kg/s
From the spread rate check at shutter position 30: flow time: 10 s,
collected fertiliser quantity: 9 kg
→
Real flow rate: 0.9 kg/s
Real flow rate: 0.9 kg/s, shutter position 30, desired flow rate: 1.0 kg/s
→
Shutter position to be set: 31.5
