Creating a Cluster

Before you create a cluster, review the information in the

Overview (p. 4)

of this section.

To create a cluster

Sign into the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon Redshift console at

https://console.aws.amazon.com/redshift

Do one of the following:

If no clusters are configured for your account, click Launch Cluster.

If one or more clusters are defined for your account, in the navigation pane, click Clusters.
Under Launch an Amazon Redshift Cluster, click Launch Cluster.

On the CLUSTER DETAILS page, do the following. When all the settings are as you want them,
click Continue.

In the Cluster Identifier box, type a unique name for your cluster.
