In no case you may modify the machine or the supplied power
cable on you own! The power supply must be operatively
grounded!

5. FUnCtIOn OF the FOOt
swItCh
For turning and fixing the spherical shell table.
The foot switch has a triple function:
1. Pedal engaged: The vacuum is released, and the spherical
shells can be moved.
CaUtIOn! If the counterweights are not
installed, hold the spherical shells to prevent them from
falling to the front.
2. Pedal not engaged: Vacuum is generated, and the spherical
shells are locked.
4.5 setsCrews FOr regUlatIOn OF

The upper right setscrew at the backside of the machine

regulates the rate of the permanent blowout. The setscrew
below

allows to regulate the rate of additional blowout.
4.6 eleCtrICIty sUPPly
Set up the machine and plug the supplied power cable into the
socket at the backside of the machine

(control of correct
voltage settings below the socket for the power cable). Then
connect the plug to the electricity grid.
4.6.1 swItChIng Between vOltages
It is possible to switch from 230 V to 100 V and back, respec-
tively. To this end, pull out the fuse holder

, and place the
insert so that the desired voltage designation can be seen in
the small window. Then reinsert the fuse holder including the
fuse.
4.7 asPIratIOn UnIt
In case a single-place aspiration unit (such as AS400 micro)
is used, link the supplied adaptor cable to the port

at the
backside of the base plate and connect the suction unit. In
case central aspiration / place aspiration is used, please refer
to the respective manuals and consult an authorized service
provider.
