Troubleshooting Procedures
PROBLEMS
POSSIBLE CAUSE
CORRECTION
No Heat when
convection cook is
programmed. NOTE:
Check double line
break operation before
proceeding. Use
"Quick Test" Method.
Open convection element.
Loose connections/broken wiring or
miswire.
Failed component in ERC.
Relay not closing.
Failed touch control glass.
Check convection element for continuity.
Replace if defective.
Refer to wiring diagram for correct wiring.
Make sure all connections are clean and tight.
Check relay drive output. Replace ERC.
Check K2 relay.
Replace transformer/relay module.
Replace if necessary.
No Display - ERC
totally inoperative.
No power to Oven.
Check house fuse or circuit breaker.
Check for 120 VAC at transformer/relay
module terminals E3 (neutral) and E2 (L1). If
voltage is present check for filament voltage at
ERC, then replace ERC.
Touch pad inoperative
Loose or broken wire connection.
Verify connection of glass panel to adaptor
board.
Verify connection of adaptor board to display
control board (ribbon cable) and integrity of
ribbon connector (continuity test of ribbon
cable).
Display flashes F0,
F1, F2, F3, F4, F7,
F9, and FF
Failed/shorted component in electrical
circuit.
Refer to Testing Procedures for failure code
description, then service and repair/replace
component involved.
"d o o r" flashes in
display when clean is
programmed.
Door not fully closed.
Failed door plunger switch.
Lock/unlock switch failed.
Door latch sensing switch stuck
open/switch lever not being depressed
by latch mechanism.
Verify door closes plunger switch.
Check operation of plunger switch.
Replace switch.
Replace autolatch assembly, if motor does not
run.
Oven does not heat or
display any
indications.
Failed fuse in fuse box or tripped circuit
breaker.
Replace blown fuse or reset tripped circuit
breaker in electrical box.
