How to Use Options

SPIN ONLY

Press pad once to program a
7-minute spin cycle.  Cycle settings
cannot be altered. Press the START
pad to begin.

WARM RINSE

The WARM RINSE selection can only
be used in conjunction with the warm
water setting.
To use WARM RINSE:

Select REGULAR cycle.

Select warm water temperature by
pressing WASH TEMP pad
accordingly.

Press WARM RINSE pad.

Press START pad.

DOUBLE WASH

Only to be used with PERM PRESS
or REGULAR settings.

Select either PERM PRESS or
REGULAR settings.

Select DOUBLE WASH option pad.

Press START pad.

To deliver extra detergent for second
wash:
• LIQUID DETERGENT: place in fabric

softener dispenser for use in second
wash. 

DO NOT use dispenser for

fabric softener.

• POWDER DETERGENT: place extra

detergent in tub for use in first wash;
recommend approximately 1½ times
normal amount.

DELAY START

To use DELAY START option:

Select start time. Each press of pad
will increase timer by 15 minutes up
to one hour, then one hour at a time
up to 24.

Add detergent and/or softener with
clothes.

Press START to begin timer.

A 'Delay Start' message will be on
display until wash begins. If a number
of hours are selected, the message
HOURS will flash beneath time on
display until time has cycled down to

starting time. Settings cannot be
altered once the settings are in
place. DELAY START is cancelled by
pressing STOP/CANCEL.

SOAK

To use SOAK option alone:

Press the SOAK pad to select this
option. The bars will light up in the
dress symbol and the display will
indicate the wash time.

Press the CYCLE ADVANCE pad
to increase the length of soak time
up to 36 minutes.

To choose SOAK option to allow 10-
minute soak period within REGULAR
or PERM PRESS cycle:

Select REGULAR or PERM
PRESS cycle

Press SOAK option pad.

RINSE/SPIN

To use this option:

Press RINSE/SPIN option pad to
allow for a 5-minute cold rinse/
5-minute spin cycle.

Adjust WATER LEVEL if desired
(this is the only setting adjustable
for this option).

Press START pad to begin.

EXTRA RINSE

This option can be used with other
options, except SOAK, SPIN ONLY,
and RINSE/SPIN:

Select cycle choice.

Press EXTRA RINSE option pad.

Select another 

OPTIONS pad, if

desired–

see limitations under

header.

Press START pad.

Rinse will be with cold water unless
WARM RINSE is selected with
EXTRA RINSE.

You may add an extra rinse to a cycle
until the first rinse fill is completed.

SIGNAL VOLUME

The pad has three volume settings:

Pressing pad once:

soft

Pressing pad twice:

medium

Pressing pad 3 times: loudest

To turn signal off:

Press pad once beyond the highest
volume setting. The SIGNAL
VOLUME pad light will go out,
indicating sound is off.

The signal volume selected for a
previous cycle will remain the same
until it is changed or turned off.

CYCLE ADVANCE

To pause a cycle and advance the
cycle to a specific stage within a
running cycle (i.e. SPIN, RINSE, etc.):

Press CYCLE ADVANCE pad until
desired stage lights up at top of
display.

Press START pad to begin cycle.

To shorten cycle time within a running
cycle:

Press CYCLE ADVANCE pad to
drop wash time down one minute at
a time.  Hold pad down to reduce
time quickly.

When desired time is reached,
press START pad to begin cycle.

SAVE CUSTOM

SETTINGS

One custom setting may be saved to
each 

SELECT CYCLE choice, but

only one may be saved at any given
time.

To program setting:

Select cycle.

Program adjustable settings (i.e.
WATER LEVEL, WASH TIME,
etc.).

Choose options, if desired.

Press SAVE CUSTOM SETTINGS
pad.

Setting may be activated by
pressing FAVORITE CYCLE pad
and then START pad.

Settings will be saved as long as
electrical power to washer is
maintained, or until another cycle is
customized. Pressing cycle button
again will return settings to factory
preset.
