necessary before using the mower again;
- if the mower starts to vibrate in an unusual
manner (try to fi nd and eliminate the cause).
D) MAINTENANCE
1) For safety reasons, never use the mower with worn
or damaged parts. Do not repair parts; change
them. Only use original spare parts.
Spare parts of another make, may cause damage
to the mower or jeopardize your safety.
2) In order to ensure that the mower is always in good
working order, always check that all nuts and screws
are tight. Good maintenance is essential for safety
and also to maintain performance levels of the
mower.
3) The grass collector and defl ector should be checked
frequently for wear or damage.
4) Work gloves should always be worn when removing
or replacing the blade.
5) Always check the blade balance when sharpening
the blade.
6) Always empty the petrol tank in an open space and
when the engine has cooled.
7) Make sure the engine has cooled down completely,
before storing in any place.
8) Do not leave the mower, with petrol still in the petrol
tank, where petrol fumes may reach a naked fl ame
or light.
9) To reduce the risk of fi re always keep the engine, the
exhaust silencer, the battery storage place and the
petrol storage area free from grass or leaf deposits
or excess grease. Do not leave containers fi lled with
grass cuttings in closed rooms.
