3. HOW DOES THE AMA3 WORK?
3.1. SWITCHING ON
Turn the ignition key in “OFF” position.
The AMA3 will alert immediately if he can reach you. You will hear an audible signal, through the
buzzer, every time you switch OFF the ignition key.
As soon as you turn off the ignition, the AMA3 will indicate the signal strength through the buzzer. 0-1 x
buzz = bad signal, 2-5 x buzz = good signal. If the signal is bad, please park your vehicle elsewhere to
avoid communication failure with your AMA3.
60 seconds after removing the ignition key, the AMA3 will automatic be armed.
3.2. SWITCHING OFF
If your vehicle is moved (lifted or replaced) the buzzer will sound. The AMA3 will give you 15 seconds
(pre-alarm) to switch your ignition key into the “ON” position. Now the AMA3 is switched OFF.
If the pre-alarm state is not canceled, the AMA3 will send a message with the following information to
your cell phone:

3.3. PROTECTION AGAINST KEY THEFT
The AMA3 offers also protection against key theft. You need to press the push button every time you
switch “ON” the ignition. If not, the AMA3 will send a SMS message. This function is not activated, for
activation see
