Using the heater
Connecting to the cylinder
1. Use an approved regulator (choosing the proper regulator according the pressure of the appliance) and tubing with
length of at least 1.0 m when connecting the regulator to the cylinder, avoid twisting of hose.
2. Slowly turn the regulator on and check if there is any gas leakage by brushing the connections with soapy water.
NEVER
USE A MATCH!
Gas leakage will cause bubbles. In the event of gas leakage, the appliance should be turned Off by closing
the regulator switch -on valve. Moreover, the regulator must be disconnected from the cylinder.
3. If a leak is suspected or found. The appliance must not be used until the leak is rectified. Place cylinder in a proper and
safe place.
Lighting instructions
The heater must only be used when the heater is mounted in its stand. The stand must be placed on flat level ground with
the heater radiant element facing away for the cylinder with the hose trailing at the rear of the appliance. The heater must
never be used separated from its stand unit.
1. Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder valve following the instructions.
2. Turn on the cylinder valve or regulator switch and check for leakage on the regulator connection with soapy water or leak
detection fluid. The connetion has a leak if it forms bubbles, turn off the cylinder valve or regulator switch and consult
your gas supplier to rectify the leak. Do not use the heater if it has a leak.
3. Turn the control knob to maximum power position.Press down the control knob and hold for 15 seconds.While holding
down the control knob, use the outsouce fire (for example ignition gun or matches) to ignite the burner.Release the
control knob 20 seconds after the burner ignited, you could choose the power by adjust the control knob direction to
increase or decrease.
Turning the heater off
1. To turn the heater off, turn off the gas supply at the cylinder valve or regulator switch. Then once the flame of burner has
gone out, turn the control knob clockwise to the maximum power position.
2. Never disconnect the regulator form the cylinder whilst the heater is alight. Always check that the burner is out of flame
before disconnection the regulator.
Changing the cylinder
1. Cylinders must be replaced in a non -flammable and non -smoking environment.
2. Turn the gas off before you replace the empty cylinder.
3. Make sure that the heater is extinguished completely before replace the cylinder.
4. Remove the regulator from the empty cylinder and change a new full one.
Maintenance and cleaning
Cleaning
• Use a damp cloth dipped with soapy water to clean the surface of your heater.
• Make sure that no water gets onto the burners or lighting area. Wipe the heater to be complete dry before it is used.
• Don’t use abrasive cleaners as they may damage the quality of surface finish.
Storage
• Store cylinders in a well -ventilated area away from combustible material.
• Storage should preferably be in an outhouse.
• The heater should be covered in a dry, dust -free medium in its original package.
Maintenance
• Check flexible tubing between regulator and heater regularly and replace if perished, worn or damaged. In any case
replace tubing taking into consideration the expiration date.
• Refer any major maintenance to the agent.
