ATS 46/53 Troubleshooting Guide

SQUEEGEE & VACUUM CIRCUITS

Conditions necessary for circuits to work

Battery Voltage

Key switch on

CB-7, CB-8 & CB-11 closed

Squeegee switch in lower position

Squeegee solenoid (7) energized

Engine running

Squeegee lock up solenoid (10) holds squeegee up when engine is turned off.

Vacuum motors will run between 38v-42volts with engine RPM at2000.

Squeegee switch works like this:

Squeegee switch (TOP) position-Squeegee up & vac. off.

Squeegee switch (MIDDLE) position-Squeegee up vac. on.

Squeegee switch (BOTTOM) position-Squeegee down & vac. on.
