General Description
The GM 140 may operate as a continuous or pulsed power
generator for the 2M226 magnetron or equivalent.
As a continuous source the unit may adjust the magnetron’s
power over the entire range from 30Wrf up to 300W rf,
while in pulsed mode the GM 140 may drive the magnetron
to reach peak power up to 1.5kWrf, with a duty factor of
20% max, corresponding to an average power of 300Wrf.
FRONT PANEL
The front panel comprises the following: (see drw):
- the equipment label [1]
- 4 leds: READY, HIGH VOLTAGE ON,
MICROWAVE ON, ALARM [2];
- a 7 pins socket for main supply (CONN. #1) [3];
- 2 rotary switches to set frequency range (FREQ) and
pulse lenght (t on) [4];
- a 9 pins “D” type socket for reference input (CONN. #2)
[5];
- a 25 pins “D” type socket for the signals (CONN. #3) [6]
The intake air flow is approx. 80 m³/h.
