Using Radio Data System(RDS)
RDS Services
This unit automatically provides RDS services as follows:
PTY (program Types)
Displays the currently received program type. Also searches
for a designated program type.
During FM reception, touch .
The unit searches for a station broadcasting the PTY
You cannot use this function in countries/ regions where
No PTY data is available.
TA (
Traffic Announcement
)
Traffic information can be received manually or
automatically with the TA function.
AF (
Alternative Frequencies
)
The unit automatically switches to the frequency where the
reception status of the station you are currently listening to
becomes the best.
Depending on the area, some stations may broadcast
different programs using different frequencies.
