2. Packaging and transport
2.1 Packaging
The device is supplied in a cardboard box internally lined with polystyrene. We recommend keeping all the
packaging just in case the device has to be returned to the manufacturer or the dealer for maintenance or
repairs.
The following objects should be found in the box:
• electrostatic precipitator
• users’ manual and guarantee leaflet
• mounting brackets with screws
2.2 Transport
To limit damage and consequent charges for unforeseen repair work, if the device has to be sent to the
manufacturer for overhaul or repair, the following procedure is recommended:
• pack the device in the original carton; if this is not possible, you must pack it with polystyrene protection.
• ship to the manufacturer or to the local dealer.
3. Installation of the filtering device
3.1 Installation
This filter is designed for duct installation, either in rectangular or round ventilation ductwork. In case of
latter, use special round connectors as shown below.
When installing together with residential air handling unit, filter should be placed on outdoor duct, in the
negative pressure, before RAHU.
