Hub Status

Indicators

The LEDs shown in Figure 9 appear on the back panel of each AT-3600
Series slave.

POWER—Green whenever power is applied.

FAULT—(OFF under normal operational conditions):

❑

Stays red for a very short time while power-on/reset diagnostics are
run; remains continually red if a malfunction occurs during the
diagnostics.

❑

Turns red (on a Master only) if the Master fails; if the Backup
detects a failure of the Master, the Backup takes over the Master
function.

ACTIVITY— The Activity indicator will flash when Ethernet packets are
being transmitted to all repeater ports.

Port Status

Indicators

The AT-3624TS and AT-3624TRS hub and port indicators on the hubs’
front panels provide visual diagnostic and activity information for
network analysis. A detailed description of the LED displays specific to
each module is provided in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of this manual.
