AT-GS2002 Series Installation Guide

1000Base-SX Fiber Optic Port on the AT-GS2002
Converter

The AT-GS2002 converter features a single duplex fiber optic port.

Type of Connector

The fiber optic port on the AT-GS2002 converter features one SC
connector.

Port Speed

The fiber optic port on the AT-GS2002 converter has a fixed operating
speed of 1000 Mbps. The end-node connected to the fiber optic port on
the bridging converter must also be able to operate at 1000 Mbps. This
speed cannot be changed.

Duplex Mode

The fiber optic port on the AT-GS2002 converter operates in a fixed full-
duplex mode only.

Maximum Distance

The fiber optic port on the AT-GS2002 converter has a maximum
operating distance of 550 meters (1,804 feet).

Type of Cable

The fiber optic port on the AT-GS2002 converter uses multi-mode fiber
optic cable.
