Locking the User Control Keypad

To lock the user control keypad and prevent others from adjusting the 
6186-M, press and hold the up and down arrow buttons at the same 
time, for at least eight seconds.

To unlock the user control keypad, press and hold the up and down 
arrow buttons again, for a period of eight seconds.
