Heavy Duty operation follows the same algorithm as Normal Duty, but allows a
larger percentage of rated current (one size smaller motor). The percentages are
150% for 60 seconds, 200% for 3 seconds and 220% for 100 milliseconds (see
"Normal Duty and Heavy Duty Operation" on
page 39 .

Thermal Manager
The thermal manager assures that the thermal ratings of the power module are not
exceeded. The operation of the thermal manager can be thought of as a function
block with the inputs and outputs as shown below.
