Data Highway Message Set

Physical Read

Use this command only as one step in an upload procedure described in
“PLC-3 Upload/Download Procedures.”  Use the value in the address
field (P ADDR) to specify the physical address of the start of the block of
data to be read from the memory at the destination for this message
packet.  Use the SIZE-field value to specify the number of bytes to read.

Unless otherwise stated, values shown are in hexadecimal, and each block
shown represents one byte.

Restart

Use this command only to terminate an upload or download in the
procedures described in “PLC-3 Upload/Download Procedures.”  At the
conclusion of an upload, this command restores the destination station to
the state it was in immediately preceding the upload procedure.  At the
conclusion of a download, this command relinquishes the download
privilege and leaves the PLC-3 controller in the program-load mode.
